New to West Bethesda?

What Can I Expect If I Visit?

We’re glad that you’re thinking about visiting West Bethesda and worshiping with us.

We’re a small congregation of people who love God and love each other. We are a great place to connect with folks of all ages. We believe every person – whether 6 months old or 96 years old – is a beloved child of God, and we would love for you to join us (either in person or online) on this journey of faith.

One of the first things you’ll notice upon arriving is that there’s plenty of parking. We have a parking lot on the west side of the building and some spaces on the north side of the building, both accessed directly from County Road I. Next, you’ll discover that the building is accessible to people with physical disabilities (a lift that goes up to the sanctuary or down to the fellowship hall is located just inside the front door – the back entrances require steps.) The first time you come, use the front door and if you are arriving for Worship, come straight in and up the steps. It’s likely someone will greet you (but if you are early and don’t see anyone, come on in.)

On Sunday mornings we have Worship Bulletins that include the order of service for the day and announcements for things happening in upcoming weeks. If you’d like to be on an email list to get the ‘at home bulletin’ please email westbethesdachurch@gmail.com and ask to be added to the weekly email list. The weekly email also includes information about connecting to worship and other events via a Zoom link.

If you would like our pastor, Rev. Mary Beth McCandless, to know you are planning to worship with us, or if you have questions about the church, you can email her at revmbmccandless@gmail.com or leave a message at 419-451-8893 (voice or text).
